It’s been an incredible year for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Real Madrid superstar won the Champions League with his club before guiding Portugal to their first ever European Championship.
Ronaldo has a combined 68 goals and assists for club and country so far this calendar year.
Great honour
“For me it’s a great honour to receive my fourth Goldon Ball,” Ronaldo said.
“The emotion is like the first one. The dream has come true. I never thought in my mind I’d win it four times. I’m so pleased, I’m so happy. I want to thank my teammates and my country.”
