One of the worst feelings anyone can have is been in a relationship in one sides relationship, where you are the only one making efforts to make the relationship a success with little or no efforts from your partner, the feeling is at times indescribable. Here are some ways to know you are in a one-sided relationship
Your partner is never there for you: “You are in a one-sided relationship if you are always there for your partner irrespective of how tight your schedule is but your partner is never there for you when you need him or her”.
You haven’t met the important people in your partner’s life: “After dating someone for a while, it’s necessary you meet important people in their lives like their friends and families, if your partner knows important people in your life and you are yet to meet important people in your partner’s life, it’s obvious you are in a one-sided relationship”.
Your partner never compromises for you: “Relationships are all about compromise and couples should be willing to compromise for each other, If you are willing to make certain adjustments to make your relationship work and your partner isn’t willing to make adjustments for the sake of the relationship, you are obviously in a one-sided relationship”.
You get nothing in return: “In a healthy relationship, it’s important both partners do all they can to make their partner happy, you are obviously in a one-sided relationship if you constantly do things to make your partner happy but your partner makes no effort to make you happy”.
Your partner doesn’t know what is happening in your life: “In a healthy relationship, both partners should know what’s going on in each other’s lives, if you always care to know what’s happening in your partner’s life and your partner never bothers to know what’s happening in your life, you are in a one-sided relationship”.
