Nigerian man, Dr. Chidubem Gerald Obi, has made history as the first African graduate with 5.0 GP from Russia’s oldest medical school, Sechenov University .
Dr. Chidubem Obi who is from Anambra State has received the award as the best graduating student in the Faculty of Medicine in I.M Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.
Sechenov University which is Moscow’s first State Medical University was founded in 1758, it is the oldest university in Russia. It is located in Moscow. The University was founded as the medical faculty of Imperial Moscow University, as the first medical school in Russia.
Dr. Chidubem Obi has made his country, Nigeria proud and the story of his record breaking and remarkable academic achievement has gone viral and gained compliments from well wishers around the world.
