In what will come across as a really horrific devlopment, a midnight tanker explosion has rocked the Otedola Bridge area of Lagos State.
The PUNCH reports that the incident happened around 3am.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the incident.
In a statement, Okunbor explained that the incident occurred when a trailer laden with fabrics crashed into a petrol tanker.
The two vehicles were razed in the resultant inferno but no casualty was recorded.
“No casualty was recorded. The fire has been put out by Lagos State Fire Fighters and LASEMA Response Team.
“Damping down concluded,” he said.
