Reports sighted on Joy News claims the queen mother of Akuapem, Nana Obuo Nketiaa, has allegedly rejected a Kia load of Sheep, along with money and other items from Government Officials to drop a dispute over the enstoolment of the new chief Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo II.
The queen has refused to acknowledge and work with the new chief because she feels there was political involvement in the appointment of the new chief.
The delegation led by the Executive Secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo attempted to appease her with the rams, bottles of schnapps, and an undisclosed amount of money.
