Ghana has lost one of it’s daughters to the deadly coronavirus in the united kingdom and it is in the persons of Mary Agyeiwaa, a 28 years old nurse.
Mary lived in the UK and has been working in Bedfordshire hospital for the past 5 years now.
She was pregnant and had been on maternity leave when she contracted the virus.
Mary’s father died of the virus just two days before her death.
The fortunate thing was that mary’s baby was successfully delivered through a caesarian section.
Mary died on the 12th of April 2020 after getting the virus on the April 2nd.
Reports does not confirm or deny if the baby have also been infected, but NHS staffs at the facility says the baby is doing very well.
