My Son recently turned 16, he’s actually preparing for Utme and while he does, he works with me partime at my Firm. I do alot of traveling and he knows the business. He fills in for me.. last night, we were eating dinner and his phone won’t stop ringing and everytime it rings, he tries to silence it. I was watching him..then phone rings again and he tries to excuse himself from the table but i asked him to not move an inch until everyone has left the table..
then out of the blues i asked him to hand me his phone.. he knows the rules (never bring your phone to the dining) so he hands me his phone then i set it aside.. it wasn’t even up to one minute this number calls again and the caller name was Mia.. ..
i got curious i asked him and he said she was his friend.. fast forward i asked him for his unlock code, he gave it and I didn’t use it right away.. i held on to his phone and later after dinner i checked around and the same Mia and himself they’ve been exchanging text messages and calls.. what do i make of this? My guess is they been having sex too and i guess aunty Mia is older.. how can i stop this?

There maybe love or infatuation,ur son may think he loves her but it maybe infatuation,I’m also 16,but I was told by my teacher in church dat I’m too youn to date,only when am ready to marry.ask ur son is he ready to marry if he say yes put him to test of marital life and let see if he can deal with it,
First,make sure u lecture him like a mother should.let him know dat he’s still very young .who knows if the lady is doing something secretive and also always pray for him every time, everyday put him in prayer that wat my mom do everytime.
Secondly, assure him dat he have a bright future ahead,and good,calm God fearing lady will locate him,he should be patient.dat lady may have someone else dat she’s having secret stuff with,who knows if she is a wolf in sheep’s clothing to destroy ur son’s life.she might have problem in marital life.so may God strengthens u.

Sorry to say madam, love has no age,there are made number, but he is too young for that now. Just keep talking to him, and advice him always, don’t beat him don’t shout at him, its love, if you keep advicing him he will see his reasons to change, his mind, he is a very handsome boy though, but just make him understand, that love will always come later ok.
