Nomcebo Zikode excitedly announced on social media that her first single, Xola Moya Wam has gone gold.
The singer says she’s excited because it’s her first single and she’s not featured on the song.
Nom appreciated Master KG and people for the support.
“God is indeed good🙌🏻, my first song ever where I’m not featured to go Gold, thank you so much @MasterKGsa @OpenMicProdSA and everyone else together we’ve done it again,” she captioned post.
Recently, Nomcebo shuns claims that she’s a one-hit wonder, as some critics said Jerusalema will be her only hit song.
“This is not the first song I have recorded to make it big. Even Master KG has released big songs in the past. I recorded a song with DJ Giyani, Emazulwini, it went very big and people were also saying that I would never record another big song, and then came Jerusalema. I have many more songs like that.”
“Anyone who thinks that I am a one-hit wonder must go study up on me and check all that I have done”, she said.
