Gail Mabalane has taken to her social media to share a picture of her new look.
The star recently shared a video on Instagram shortly after she cut her hair low the first time after suffering from CCCA.
CCCA means central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia which is a very common cause of alopecia or hair loss in black women.
Gail explained that there is something about cutting the hair which does not only signify a brand new beginning but also the boldness and confidence that no one can take away from the person.

The proud bald Gail shared the picture to show her fans that she is still black and beautiful.
Gail captioned the post with few hashtags like bald and beautiful, Alopecia Awareness Month.
