Chelsea are Premier League champions once again – but this time their prize will be the most lucrative this country has seen.
The Blues have won the title for a fifth time in 13 seasons but it is a first for boss Antonio Conte.
He has masterminded an incredible campaign, adjusting to a back three after a tricky start to the season.
Since then, Chelsea haven’t looked back and have been top of the pile since early November.
But just how much will they pocket from winning the title?
Chelsea’s prize is set to be the most lucrative in Premier League history – standing at a staggering £150million.
They will be the first champions to benefit from the latest TV deal, worth over £8billion to all 20 clubs.
Each club is set to receive over £80million from international TV rights, commercial contracts and the “equal share” payment.
A further fee is added based on how many times each side have been shown live on TV this season.
Chelsea’s position as champions will see them net a further windfall of around £40million through a merit payment.
Leicester pocketed £93million when they claimed their incredible success last term but that will be increased by 65 percent for the men from Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Chelsea received only £87.3million when they finished 10th last term.
Those at the bottom of the table won’t go broke though; even rock-bottom Sunderland will pocket close to £100million.
