The 20 clubs in English Premier League are set to vote against summer transfer window going on while the league is on.
According to Times UK, the league is in the move to approve changes that will see the transfer window end before the start of the season.
The current transfer window closes on Aug. 31, more than two weeks after the start of the domestic league season.
Representatives from the 20 clups in the EPL will vote at next month’s shareholder’s meeting to move the deadline to the week before the 2018-19 season begins, according to the newspaper.
The Times report that the vast majority of Premier League clubs are willing to see to the change.
