MANCHESTER UNITED have officially releaseed Zlatan Ibrahimovic after not offering the striker a contract extension.
The Premier League’s website’s released list reveals the solitary name of Ibrahimovic under United’s name – despite the veteran being their top scorer last term.
The Swede finished as the Red Devils’ top scorer with 28 goals but an ACL injury threw his future up in the air, despite his strong season at Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic had surgery on his damaged knee and appears to be well ahead of schedule as he has already been back kicking a football.
Despite it looking likely that Ibrahimovic will leave Old Trafford, his agent Mino Raiola says his client wants to stay in England.
