MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho bemoans the fact that he has lost his lucky tag when it comes to Stamford Bridge.
It took until his 78th game there as manager in his second spell before he tasted defeat.
That was to Sunderland in April 2014 as they battled against relegation.
He had even won there as Inter Milan manager when he went back in 2010.
But last season as Chelsea boss he lost another four at home as things went into meltdown for him putting a dent in that proud record.
So as he prepares to return there this time as Manchester United boss Mourinho can no longer say ‘I am always lucky at The Bridge’.
Mourinho said: “I had that home record. Now I have lost a few matches at the Bridge. So I cannot use the same words because now I have lost there.”

Indeed of 263 games he has presided over as a manager on home ground over 16 years he has lost just ten.
The last being against Manchester City this season.
He travels away to Stamford Bridge on Sunday looking to extend a confidence building run of six games unbeaten home and away in all competitions.
He faces a Chelsea side who have come out of their own mini wobble in which they took just one point from three games to win their last two.
There are just two points between them with Chelsea on 15 in fifth and United on 14 in seventh after eight games.
Mourinho said: “You look to the table and you see where they are. They are in a good position. So the start of the season cannot be bad if they are where they are.”
So it is game on for Mourinho’s first return to The Bridge as the boss of another Premier League club this Sunday.
He said: “I knew that, working in England and staying in the Premier League, I knew that sooner or later, I had to play against Chelsea and go to Stamford Bridge. The computer has decided it is to go now. And here we go.”
