From this day onward, I will begin officiating 'marriages in Christ' - Daddy Freeze declares

Cool FM’s, Daddy Freeze said he’ll begin officiating marriages going forward. He made the statement while reacting to a recent interview by Oprah Winfrey.

In the interview, Oprah explained to Vogue Magazine why she and longtime partner Stedman Graham have never tied the knot and will never tie the knot saying, ‘the only time I brought it up was when I said to Stedman, ‘What would have happened if we have actually gotten married?’” she said. “And the answer is: ‘We wouldn’t be together.’

We would not have stayed together, because marriage requires a different way of being in this world.

His interpretation of what it means to be a husband and what it would mean for me to be a wife would have been pretty traditional, and I would not have been able to fit into that.”

Freeze in his reaction said, ‘If we don’t want this kind of Oprah’s relationship to look enticing to your children, the time to take the stand is now! From this day onwards, I will begin officiating ‘marriages in Christ’ for citizens of the #FreeNation and anyone else who wishes to be married in Christ, without the bondage of the legal system or the burden of tradition and religion.
