Lauretta Onochie, an aide to President Muhammadu Buhari has accused members of the National Assembly of bias in the execution of their oversight functions.

Muhammadu Buhari on social media, Lauretta Onochie has attacked members of the National Assembly saying their oversight
functions are riddled with corruption.
She said it on Twitter writing: “When House/ Senate committee members with oversight
function on any agency is denied special favours by the agencies, the head becomes corrupt.”
She did not give details of what she meant by ‘special favours’ but there had been allegations of bribery between members of
the National Assembly and top government officials in the past.
