Nigerians and Ghanaians are having a slug fest on Twitter over which of their players is the better player. Wilfred Ndidi is a Nigerian midfielder who plays for Leicester city while Thomas Partey is a Ghanaian midfielder who plays for Atletico Madrid.
Just like both West African nations have battled it out in the past over jollof rice, Ghanaians feel their player is the better one while Nigerians feel they have the better footballer in Ndidi.
Remember that the Nigeria versus Ghana rivalry is a well-documented one, and both players play for top teams in England and Spain.
Ndidi has established himself as one of the best players in Leicester City while Partey is also one of the best players in Atletico Madrid in Spain’s La Liga.
