Former Adom TV presenter Nana Yaa Brefo has opened up on her marital issues in a recent interview.
Nana Yaa in an interview on Neat FM with Ola Micheal disclosed that she is on her third marriage.
according to Nana Yaa in the interview, she has had it tough when it comes to combining her job as a leading broadcaster/journalist with her a marriage.
“A lot of people in the media, especially, the women have marital issues and some are not even married. I’ve woken up at dawn for years and it is very difficult for a man to tolerate the fact that he does not see his wife when he wakes up and has to take care of their child all by himself before going to work. Sometimes when you return home, you are asked to return. The calls you make to get guests on a show even could cause problems with your husband,” she said.
speaking on her first marriage, Nana Yaa disclosed that she married a presenter of whom she had her only child with but that marriage couldn’t last.
her second marriage also lasted for 12 good years but also broke up after all those years.
speaking about her third marriage Nana Yaa Brefo said;
“I am married to a man in the US and I decided to keep on the low because I did not want any noise about it,”
she added;
“I’m not the type that will kowtow to everything that my husband says but I always give you your respect and consult you on issues first before acting,”
