Sensational and celebrated Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah in an interview with TV presenter Nana Adwoa Sarkodie on IG live has disclosed that she is not under pressure to marry.
Martha Ankomah explained that Ghanaian society is such that it put a lot of stress on women to get married and as a result, most of them end up with the wrong people and become discontented.
According to the beautiful actress, some people have been forced to marry the wrong people because they fail to pray about their spouses before getting married. She emphasised that marriage is not for the fun of it but to build a life.
Though she faces lots of criticism from people, she will not let their words get to her so hard consequently pressuring her to get into getting married to someone her heart desires not for. God’s time is the best.
“People usually say a lot of things to me with regards to marriage. But the Bible says all things work together for good to them that love God and also in His time, He makes all things beautiful.
So I believe when its God’s time, I’ll get married. Delay doesn’t mean denial. God reserves the best for his children. Remember, it’s not about just getting married, what is important is to be happily married. So you don’t just marry for marrying sake” she said.
