Report has it that Ghanaian musician Kay 2 real name Nicholas Mensah is known for his hit song ‘Juliana’ which was released in the early 2000s.
According to a cousin of the musician identified as Mariam, Kay 2 died of Ulcer adding that three weeks ago the musician and other family members had a funeral to which he helped served guests at the funeral.
On Monday, he was supposed to follow some other family members to give accountability for the funeral but he told them he was feeling weak and requested to take porridge.
Mariam added that Kay 2 is known as someone who loves to stay indoors most of the time but after some hours they started asking of his whereabout since he has not been seen after taking the porridge.
One other cousin of his was asked to check if he was in his room, the cousin came back and confirmed that he was asleep in his room. Few hours later the aunt to the musician asked why he would still be sleeping at that time because aside the porridge he hadn’t eaten anything.
She continued that it was at that time that went to his room to see him lying on the floor called him several times but he never responded which made them rush him to the nearest hospital.
At the hospital, he was administered first aid but when the issue got serious he was referred to the Okomfo Anokye Hospital where he passed on.
