The tragic killing of George Floyd by the former Minneapolis police officer has caused unrest in the black community and amongst the impacted family. Following his death, many have shown compassion toward the family in numerous ways.
The former boxer, Floyd Mayweather has come forward to lend a large hand, by covering the funeral costs for George!
According to Hollywood Unlocked, Floyd Mayweather personally reached out to George Floyd’s family, as he was “distraught” after learning that that Officer Chavin was being charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.
He committed to paying for the three funeral services being held in George’s honor. The ceremonies will reportedly be held in Houston, Minnesota, and Charlotte and the family is reportedly planning a fourth service in another location.
