Emtee whose real name is Ndevu Mthembeni revealed how he got emotional at Cotton Fest Durban.
Some South African celebrities avoided going to Durban after the death of Kiernan AKA Forbes; as he was shot and killed there on the 10th of February.
Taking to Twitter, Ndevu says he was reminded of the late AKA and Riky Rick, which almost brought him to tears.
“Shit was overwhelming. Riky, Kiernan so much on my mind. Wanted to cry for real. I wasn’t drunk. I don’t drink alcohol. Seeing the people of Durban for the first time in a long time. I was just emotionally fucked bout a lot. Still am,” he wrote.
However, despite being emotional, he had a swell time at the fest.
