The Cape Town Carnival is back in town. Hurray! But driving around the city this weekend is going to be a nightmare. Boo! The raucous celebrations are set to make their way through Green Point to the CBD, and if you’re planning a trip through here on Saturday, you may be out of luck.
The festivities are set to get underway from around midday, partying on until the early hours on Sunday. Public transport will also be affected, and severe parking restrictions are in place for nearby residential areas.
