Ami Faku’s SAMA26 snub pisses fans

The annual South African Music Awards (SAMA26), finally aired on Monday night, on Mzansi Magic, but not everyone was pleased after viewing the prestigious show.

SAMA’s failure to award Ami Faku the Best Newcomer Of The Year category which was won by Ndabo Zulu and Umgidi Ensemble got fans pissed off.

People are being hopeful that she secures a win or more for the remaining 2 nods bagged.

The award is a five-night broadcast event from the 3-7 August.

However, Twitter users claim Ami got robbed of her win, as she deserves the Best Newcomer of the year award, due to her singles which went platinum and gold.
