What Happened to Filipe Oliveira?
Filipe Oliveira passed away on March 24, 2023. He was suffering from cancer for a few years. He posted an update on his health status on social media a few days back. It says,
You have noticed that lately I’m not posting and being active on social media and this will stay like this while I don’t recover part of my strengths.
Some setbacks regarding my health situation, results didn’t come as expected, cancer spread and I’m back to radiation and chemotherapy, which means, tough times ahead once again.
I don’t see any other option than do a small break in the hobby, to recover and follow the heavy treatments, hoping they can control it and let me come back stronger, even limited, but with the strength to start creating content once again! 
Even having the will to come back, my body doesn’t have energy enough to make it happen for more than 30min…
Thank you so much for all the messages, care, and support, that means a lot to me 
I wish you all the best in the world and I will be back, write It down. I’m not a guy of giving up so easily. While I have strengths, I will keep fighting and I will win this battle!

Filipe Oliveira Cause of Death
Filipe had been fighting cancer for a considerable amount of time previous to his death on March 24 at the age of 47. He had been fighting for a considerable amount of time. I wish for you to experience the kind of inner calm that transcends all comprehension.
Filipe Oliveira will always be in our hearts Rest in peace “Treeman”. We wish the whole family a lot of strength and energy in difficult times .

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our dearest friend and colleague, Filipe Oliveira. Filipe passed away on March 24th after a challenging period of cancer, at the age of 47.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones, especially his wife Sónia and his son Bruno. We are at a loss for words. We love you Filipe. We will miss you in every possible way, so much more than we can say. May you rest in peace
